Gretta's travels

In the nine months leading up to Gretta's birthday she was quite the traveler! She went to the Colorado Rockies for a Schwarting family ski trip, spent some time in Rome, Italy, visited family in Norway, spending time both in Oslo and on a few tiny islands on the West coast of for a family reunion. Our Europe trip ended with a whirlwind couple of days in London. She spent time in Oregon in July to cheer on Grandma and Grandpa Patterson, Aunt Bethany, and Daddy as they ran in a half marathon. In August, she got to go hang out in Juneau with her cousins Jack, Samantha, and Kate; then it was off to Ketchikan to visit more family. Gretta may not remember all the places she visited while she was tucked away safely in Annie's tummy, but we'll have the pictures to show her. Here are some highlights from the year's travels.

The little yellow house is where we stayed at on Mausaund in Norway. Our cousin Bernhard grew up there. With Bernhard, his sister Lil, and his mother Ruth. Even though Lil and Ruth didn't speak any English we had a great time with them. They were so warm and friendly! In front of the White Tower, at the center of the Tower of London.
